Short Script:
How to Meet Casey Neistat in Bangkok: Turn on the music, close your laptop, and off to Thailand!
When you arrive, get his attention and give him a reason to visit you, or just watch one of Casey’s videos to meet him there.
Mission accomplished! If you’re satisfied with that, good luck. If not:
There are more exciting solutions in the upcoming videos. Subscribe to find out what my channel’s community meetups are all about and how you can increase your chances of joining us in August 2025 in Berlin.
I’m Nemesus, and I’ll be flying to Bangkok for a week in April. No time to wait around with the B-roll until then—after all, I have a meetup to organize.
Creativity is King - Live Bolder
Long Script:
(Intro) (Voice-Over) How to meet Casey Neistat in Bangkok. – Turn on the music, close your laptop, and off to Thailand!
(B-Roll: Beginning: On-screen text: Berlin, 2025. Ends: Arrival at the hotel room)
(Voice-Over) Once you’ve arrived at the hotel, you’re already a third of the way there. – You’re in Bangkok, so why not arrange a meeting in Bangkok?
Now you only have two tasks left:
Attract Casey Neistat’s attention by standing out significantly among his 12 million subscribers! – That’s how you’ll get his personal contact.
Connect with him on a meaningful level. – Then he’ll drop everything just to come see you in Thailand.
Or… you could just open your laptop and watch one of Casey’s videos.
Mission accomplished. – That was easy, wasn’t it?
By the way, I really will be in Bangkok in two months. – I just don’t expect to run into Casey Neistat. He doesn’t know me. And if he did, would I really have a compelling reason for him to meet me? What important thing would I even say? – That I like his videos? – Maybe this is a good moment for some reflection.
My B-roll was actually a homage to Casey. It was an attempt to tell a story with just a few images and sounds – one that takes you and me from Berlin to Bangkok in a matter of seconds. – Energetic and rhythmic, in sync with the music.
Like Casey, I used music from a stock footage portal. But now it’s 2025. Why shouldn’t I also use video clips the same way? Casey used to say time and again that content is king. But is that still true? I get the feeling that nowadays, perspective is what really matters.
(Soft fade: From night in Bangkok to New York.)
And from my perspective, we’ve long since met Casey. – I don’t know if you also took his online course, like I did. – But I do know we’ve often encountered him – not physically, but through his stories. – Otherwise, you probably wouldn’t be watching this video right now.
(Soft fade: Back to the hotel room.)
I’m Nemesus, and I’m convinced that starting in 2025, we need more perspectives – a new generation of creators. Not least because the audience itself is changing.
“The world around us will be shaped more and more by technology and AI every year. – And that affects both creators and their audiences. Creators will place new demands on their own lives, which in turn changes their content. Meanwhile, viewers will increasingly look for complexity, depth, and usefulness. Both sides will develop in similar ways, simply because they share the same new global framework. Anyone who remains stagnant—creator or not—will be incompatible with the future.
New creators, on the other hand, will be less inclined to see YouTube purely as a video platform or just a money-maker. More and more, they’ll see it as a space for self-improvement. Especially when working with AI, it becomes a place for inner growth, a way to realize personal visions through extended projects, and a forge for deep, worldwide connections. The videos and activities of this generation will be more psychological and structured than those of their predecessors. – Building up a solid routine will be more important than using purely original film and sound clips, at least at the start of their careers.
Because expectations keep rising, I plan to organize a real-life meetup in the summer of 2025 through my channels. – Not in Bangkok, but in Berlin. This should expand the opportunity for collaboration on a national level, at least at first. – I have to start somewhere. – And meeting in person surely isn’t the worst way to counter the growing isolation and fragmentation around the globe – wouldn’t you agree?
This meetup is for those who already see themselves as part of this new generation of creators, and for the adventure-hungry who want to explore new paths. It also strengthens the connection between creators and their audiences. – There are still six months to go until the meetup. Subscribe to the channel and help make the summer of 2025 the best we’ve ever experienced. – And if we succeed, we might plan more international meetups in the future—maybe in New York, Bangkok, or any other inspiring place we can think of. – With visitors from all around the world.”

To Casey: Never stop working harder. – Thanks for being Casey Neistat.
